d3d12: Disallow creating external image after device destruction ExternalImageDXGIImpl holds a weak reference to the device. If the device is destroyed before the image is created, the image will have a dangling reference to the device which can cause a use-after-free. This CL fixes that by adding a ValidateIsAlive() check before creating the image similar to creating other API objects. Dawn is an open-source and cross-platform implementation of the work-in-progress WebGPU standard. More precisely it implements webgpu.h
that is a one-to-one mapping with the WebGPU IDL. Dawn is meant to be integrated as part of a larger system and is the underlying implementation of WebGPU in Chromium.
